This is actually a great endorsement. Doug Flutie is very popular in Massachusetts in general, and Boston in particular. Who can forget the BC v. Miami game in 1984, when Flutie threw for some 470 yards and Bernie Kosar of Miami threw for 440 in a see-saw game that came down to the last play and a Hail Mary pass by Flutie to win the game 47-45? Absolute classic.

"This is big considering Flutie is a renown leftist."

Not only is Flutie a renown leftist, I also heard he is a renown shortist(less than 6 foot tall) as well!

Thank goodness he is not a renown Kennedy!

“Thank goodness he is not a renown Kennedy!”

I thought that was a ‘be-drowned” Kennedy.

Every Repub we ever got out of Mass was a Rino from Elliott Richardson to Edmund Brooke. Even Martin (repub spkr was a bit of a rino). There was a guy Hastings Keith (i think thats his name ) that was a strong Repub...almost 50 years ago.

Agree.

I remember him cheerleading for Hillary as Senator up on stage with (yetch) Ben Affleck at rallies.

This is something I would not have expected.
