Doesn't anyone remember how the press dug for GWB's military records? How is this request for documentation any different? Answer - it isn't!

People have forgotten that point you made. It can not be mentioned enough, puts things into perspective.

Precisely. They had the right, indeed the NEED, to go after Bush in an insatiable frenzy, but now when records are sought for THIS president, all of a sudden he is considered "untouchable" and the media labels those who ask the question with a derogatory term (because of THEIR refusal to do their job the same way they would have done it had Bush been the one with this information questioned). It's hypocritical and it's a sign the media is in lockdown protective mode, per whatever instructions they've been given (or not given as the case may be - and that includes Fox News).
