In truth, I don't think Leo really was interested in finding out the truth about Obama’s citizenship status because when he got close in this UIPA strategy he took over from Ms. Tickley - he dropped it and closed his blog. Ms. Tickley’s findings were fuzzy to me but then she disappeared.
Now we have this kooky thing that makes no sense. A lot of these folks are just weird and manipulative. I think Obama is hiding his birth data and background records for a reason that is not good. But there seems to be a lot of people cropping up to mislead and lie in order to misinform, discredit, discourage and confuse the “birthers.”

That's why I've said, from the beginning (just after the election took place) that we needed to pass some state laws which will require all candidates to produce a birth certificate or else they cannot be on the ballot in that state.
Several states have started that process, including my own state last year. But, none have passed so far. I would encourage all FReepers to work on this legislation as I think it's the only solid way to get that information which is contained on the birth certificate...
