I think a few hundred suits ought to get their attention. There is no reason in the world why they won't let the public, know the difference between a COLB with date filed by Registrar and date accepted by State Registrar. Someone supposedly got an answer that they don't have to answer all questions. Other answers are that their are no records showing the difference. Yeah right, and I have a bridge to Hawaii for sale. That is evasive and casts a very bad light on Hawaii DOH and their higher ups.
Where is the news media on this? Honolulu Advertiser? Someone needs to ask the Governor why they won't answer such a simple question. Forget Hawaii as a vacation destination, they can't be trusted IMO. Forget calling Glenn Beck call the Governor. Tell them when the Republicans/Tea Partiers take back Congress they won't see a dime till they obey their own laws. PUT THE HEAT ON, ASK EVERYONE TO CONTACT HAWAII UNTIL WE GET SOME STRAIGHT ANSWERS!

Governor Lingle believes strongly that state government should be open and accessible to the people of Hawaii, and the Constituent Services office works to meet that mandate in a professional, courteous and prompt manner. The purpose of Constituent Services is to provide information about state government and connect citizens to the state departments that can best meet their needs.

As for Steve Dunham, I call B.S.
It still is strange that HI wouldn't come back with the first response and say no index for Steve Dunham. Why wait until the 3rd (?) response many months later?
Anyway, I completely agree with this statement:
"There is no reason in the world why they won't let the public, know the difference between a COLB with date filed by Registrar and date accepted by State Registrar."
