People who spend more than four hours in front of the television each day have a far higher risk of dying early than those who limit their viewing, an Australian study said Tuesday.

I wonder what is the active agent in this finding, especially for those of us in front of a computer monitor screen for four or more hours per day, and that is just at work?

Must be a primordial instinct thingy and hormones is my best guess. Lulled into states of calm watching soap operas and then watching Roseanne reruns.. not good. The rot must occur from within altho you’d think the spare tires over the belt might sound alarm too.

Yep. I don’t even have a tv, but I sure spend more than 4 hours/day in front of my computer...
