What, the Single Six made it but the Service Six/Security Six didn’t?
“What, the Single Six made it but the Service Six/Security Six didnt?”
the Single-six is the gun that more-or-less restarted the cowboy/single action thing back in the 1950’s. Colt had ceased making SAA’s, so there weren’t any good “Western” guns on the market. Ruger brought out the Single-Six, which got things rolling for the Blackhawk series.
The Service/Security six series was pretty much just competition for the S&W and Colt guns of the time, and didn’t have near the effects on the industry.
