I posted this on another thread, but it bears repeating:
Today marked a dramatic shift in MA politics. In a landmark switch from Democrat to Republican, my 87 year old mother-in-law asked if i would drive her to the polls on Tuesday to cast her vote for Scott Brown.
Her first vote was for Franklin Roosevelts fourth term in 1944. She met John Kennedy when he toured the Westinghouse factory during his run for the Senate in the mid fifties. With the exception of this past Presidential election (she sat it outdidnt like either of them) she has voted straight line democrat.
This switch is based on the fact that They are all full of crap and we need to get rid of all of them.
We are proud of our Nonni. It just proves that it is never too late for redemption.
That’s amazing. At 87 she’s recognizing the libs for what they are.
I am hearing rumblings from friends in MA. They’re fed up.
As I said it earlier posts, a lot of MA voters are reluctant to state their views aloud and I suspect the polls underestimate the number of Scott supporters. It wouldn’t surprise me if he wins.
Rent a mini-van and stop by the local senior center to see if anyone else needs a ride!
