I have a copy of her book somewhere that I enjoyed so much. After reading the Diary of Anne Frank this book gave more information. I have read several books about the Frank tragedy, which is a very interesting story. It is very sobering that the Nazi’s could be so cruel.

Watching movies rarely move me to tears, but “Anne Frank - The Whole Story” was one of those. This was the movie that showed what happened to Anne and Margot after they were discovered, through Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen where they perished.

I read “The Diary of a Young Girl” when I was 10.

That was almost a half century ago.

I remembered Miep Gies’s name from all that time.

That is how much of an impression it made on me!
