She already has 16 years of political experience under her belt.
Why does she need to go to Congress and just be one of hundreds of lawmakers?
Public exposure. I really think she could build a reputation there first. Yes, she was a governor, but until recently she really wasn't that well known outside of Alaska.
The press has and will continue to try and destroy her in her capacity now, and I think she could really build a strong backing in Congress first. I mean as it stands now there are more libs, minorities and just those who wouldn't want a woman in the top position. There are just not enough of us to put her over the top. She needs to build a wider general appeal, which she doesn't have now IMO.
Agreed. If one takes the view that experience is experience, she has it in spades. If we must draw distinctions in the type of experience, I’ll go with executive experience over ‘legislative’ experience any day of the week.
