That cat looks like he would like to rip your throat out for putting that hat on him.
He should worry about sensitivity to lead.
A simple double-blind test could prove if he’s sensitive or not to EMF.
He needs to get one of these or move to the outback.
Great idea!!!!
Mr. Firstenberg needs to go find a cave to live in.
So how exactly does he survive anywhere? Does he not have any electrical appliances in his house? Does he have to use a tin foil umbrella when walking outside in the sun? And I’m sure he realizes that the light candles give off is an EM wave too right?
Blind fold him and then ask him to tell when a particular electronic device is turned on or off.
Were I you, I wouldn’t worry. I worked in the radar repair field many years ago and know that I was exposed to excessive K, X, S and L band radiation. After that I worked in Metrology (measurement science) laboratories and, again, was occasionally exposed to a variety of radiation sources. I am now 73 and, as far as I know at the moment, am in good health.

Electromagnetic Sensitivity my butt this guy a ignorant luddite who thinks people should live at a year 1500 standard of living
“This reads like a joke. How could anyone think they can force someone else to turn off their phone or computer in their own home?”
Theoretically, there *could* be something to this, and this guy could be just an unusually extreme example of a problem that actually affects a huge number of people on a much milder level. If future research bears that out, there’s no reason why there shouldn’t be a legal right found to be free of harmfully high levels of EMR emanating from your neighbor’s home. It was just a few decades ago that scientists didn’t have any idea that exposure to X-rays (just one form of EMR) could cause serious harm. Now it’s established fact, and your neighbor is most certainly not free to play around with unshielded X-ray machines in his/her home (nor are shoe stores free to use X-ray machines as a sales gimmick, which was once a widespread practice http://www.museumofquackery.com/devices/shoexray.htm ).
I don’t know if this guy is just a total crackpot or a conspicuous loser in the grand scheme of evolution — perhaps the latter, to give him the benefit of the doubt. It is conceivable that some people have an unusual sensitivity to certain types of electromagnetic radiation, and if so, then it’s likely that a lot of people have a much milder sensitivity that they aren’t aware of, but that has subtle negative effects on their physical and/or mental health. If that turns out to be the case, look for aluminum home siding to make a big comeback, because the trend of rapidly increasing EMR “pollution” isn’t going to stop.
I bought an old Queen Anne home in the midwest a couple of years ago, did lots of major improvements to it (new windows, insulation, wiring, etc) and figured I’d leave replacing the dingy and slightly corroded aluminum siding for a later date. I only use it as an occasional vacation home, and therefore don’t have my own internet service their, and just tap into unsecured wireless networks nearby. My laptop’s wireless card has to be *right* at a window to pick up a useable signal (and a window on the correct side of the house for the particular signal). I can watch the signal strength crash as I lower the laptop just a couple of inches below the window opening, to where the siding starts.
I’ve seriously started to consider whether it would be better to leave the aluminum siding on, and just coat it with vinyl, than to replace it. It’s not that I have any sensitivity to EMR that I know of, but theoretically it’s very possible that all day, every day exposure to a wide range of EMR bombardment isn’t healthy, and it’s also very possible that the increasing EMR clutter will start to cause significant interference between various signals, and that it may become increasing difficult to protect the security/privacy of your own EMR-transmitted communications and remote controlled devices. Having a pretty well shielded house just might be a good thing.
