I am not seeing where Blade Runner was liberal too. It’s been a while since I have seen the movie, but the novel was not left wing.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep was pretty wild. Dick was one of the first writers to explore what would happen when technology became so effective that people could not tell the difference between reality and technology and abandoned the grittiness of life for the allure of a technologically created utopia.

I never read Dick as being particularly political one way or the other, although his works frequently expressed a fear or dislike of an all powerful government.
