1. Divert critical CIA resources and spy satellites away from hunting terrorists to track global warming.
2. Release captured al Qaida terrorists from Gitmo (most of whom were caught on the battlefield in Afghanistan) and send them through America's criminal court system.
Liberals pretend this is about fearlessly defending constitutional rights, but the Constitution doesn't apply to non-citizens. Hence, as usual, they are just treasonously aiding our enemies in a time of war. For the record, we have repeatedly discovered released Gitmo detainees recruiting for and plotting attacks with al Qaida.
3. Rather than aggressively interrogating captured al Qaida operatives for vital intelligence (which actually works), give them lawyers and plea bargains while politely asking them to betray their allies.
4. Misrepresent one terrorist attack after another as a random crime by a "victim of stress" or an "isolated extremist" while tirelessly perpetuating the myth that Islam is a "religion of peace"...

We can’t say this too often.
One slight error: the Constitutional protections inherent in our criminal justice system most certainly do apply to non-citizens. If a non-citizen (a tourist, for example) is accused of a crime in this country, they are entitled to their Miranda rights, assistance of counsel, a jury trial, and all of the other protections of our criminal justice system. These constitutional rights do not apply to enemy combatants, but that is because they have waged war against the United States (and thus should properly be dealt with by the military, not the criminal justice system), not because they are not citizens.
There are times when I believe -18nobama actually has a goal of killing, via a terrorist attack, a whole bunch more of us.
barry wants it
