Those that live in wide open spaces, and/or deer/bear/bighornsheep etc areas are wize to have some protection for when wildlife wanders onto roads.
I am sure that highly respected FR member Jeff Head didn't install his accessory because he "bumps into things"
I do respect Ford Motor Company for not buying into the government bailout program, but Ford's just don't come close to matching GMC vehicles.

Unless you want to carry a load, or set some sheets of T&G plywood down on the bed where they can slide under the saddle box... :o)
