There are some real concerns raised by this attack.

First, to set these guys up as a top level source the jihadist had to have members of their own leadership targeted for drone attacks. These leaders would have to be killed or wounded in these attacks in order to build their double agents “street creed”. It was his passed record of success that got him the meeting.

Think of the planning and cold blooded nature of what was done. The enemy proves again they are not stupid. Our efforts go into filing criminal charges against Navy SEAL’s because a know enemy leader gets a bloody lip.

Second, the enemy is fighting for God. Even if we don't believe this they sure do. If you are going to turn a jihadist what do we have to offer? Material stuff? An American passport? Money? We can't even agree that we are in a war. How do we convince someone to turn against everything and everyone they know, love, and believe. When our own President cannot commit to a full out war effort. We lost a lot of very good people in this attack. We we will continue to do so until we stop allowing our values to be used as a weapons against us and start understanding that this enemy will not be bought off. They do not have to be arrested, they have to be defeated and destroyed!

Hell it is probably worse than that. We could have been played in a power struggle to allow someone to clean house in the terrorist camps and then use their man to take out some high level CIA folks. Damn shame.
