What does she mean with AMERICAN??
Well, it's not too hard to figure out what is meant or why it was said. To illustrate, all I have to do is change this up a bit...
"... and is a natural-born citizen."
[ yeah of what country?? ... LOL...]
Immediately after that kind of statement... bloggers would be firing up their keyboards saying, "Yeah, she didn't say 'American' because she knew he wasn't, but was a natural-born Kenyan..."
I think they knew what was required in making the statement, with all the "hullaballoo" going on, in order to make it absolutely clear and unmistakeable... :-)
