If we added to these percentages those with questions and doubts the numbers would be even higher.
Using the poll you cited....
70 per cent of respondents believe Barack Obama was born in the U.S., while 30 per cent do not.
Having 70%, in the poll believe that Obama was born in the U.S. is a very large number, politically speaking, for any issue. I've heard that if you get 66% or over on any issue, you've got a definite landslide "winner" (on whatever the issue is).
It is said that it's a waste of time to try and ever "convert" the last 33% of those who are opposed to an issue, as it's not cost-effective.
That 1 in 3 of the general population does not believe Obama was born in the U.S. is really rather remarkable given the complete blackout on reporting by both the Marxist media and conservative media.
And....We do not know ( perhaps you do) the percentage of people like me who say that it is impossible to know about Obama’s eligibility given the evidence.
And 51% of Republicans do not believe that Obama was not born in the U.S. This is more than half of all Republicans. This too is remarkable given the complete lack of mainstream media reporting. These Republican ( plus those with doubts and questions) are NOT going to allow their representatives to ignore this issue.
Conservatives can certainly disagree about whether Obama’s eligibility is worth spending time, but...please don't use DOJ talking points to deliberately misinform, distort, or obfuscate.
