I note that Congressman Deal took office on January 3, 2007. And it's interesting that he never voiced any opposition on January 6, 2009.... LOL...

Key Electoral College Dates and Events

January 6, 2009 - Counting Electoral Votes in Congress:
The Congress meets in joint session to count the electoral votes (unless Congress passes a law to change the date).

And..., neither did Vice President Cheney make any official opposition to this, either, much less any unofficial opposition... (not to say anything, either, about President Bush not making a single bit of "noise" about it...).

That’s the 64 thousand dollar question. Why didn’t anyone in congress or Cheney or Bush or even Hillary question eligibility when they had the chance before the election. Also curious is why Hillary was suddenly shunned by the powers that be when she had the public support. She was quickly put in the corner with a bowl of pudding and ignored every time she tried to speak up. I can see someone having the goods on her and Bill but I can’t see how the whole of DC let this pass.
