Why doesn’t Reid just retire this year? He’s 70 & most ordinary citizens have retired by that age. These politicians are obsessed with power & money. I predict that he might retire because he’s in danger of losing his seat.

Aw, you know why Byrd, Kennedy, and many others don’t retire form the Senate. All that power, none of the responsibility. Pure gravy every day.

...The one I don’t get is Hillary. Of course, I don’t have her mind or perspective, but I would have told Barrack, politely, “No, thank you, please!” if he’d asked me to give up the Senate to be Secretary of State.

I’d rather see him voted out by a 75% to 25% margin. That would be an almost total rejection, and an ignominious end to his spotty career.
