Of course you know we're not supposed to say "colored" these days...but the NAACP can get away with it.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is one of the oldest and most influential civil rights organizations in the United States.(snip)

Its name, retained in accord with tradition, is one of the last surviving uses of the term "colored people". This is now generally viewed as dated and derogatory. In the historical context of the NAACP, however, the term is not considered offensive.

Try “coloured” rather than “colored”...It’s fancier and suggests that the writer/speaker is fairly cultured.

How one might make that distinction when speaking, I have no idea!
