I couldn’t make out the details of the background flag/banner... but the point is the same. The verbiage is a profession, known as Kalema. I have such a flag/banner, acquired while in Kandahar, Afghanistan. An e-mail transmission verbatim, between two MI types came with the “souvenir,” and I post it as received in hard copy form.
Melissa,
Here is the flag translation that you asked us to look at...
“There is no other God except Allah and Mohammad his prophet.”
Comments: It is called “Kalema.” Which is for every Muslim to believe in their heart and at least one time in their life they should announce it a loud.
***Melissa, not much actionable intelligence here, however of note, it is Arabic... At times Arabic = Al’qadia.
If you can get me the capture info of where it is (was) found and who found it, we can credit them for the find...
Thanks for calling me, glad to help and hope to see you on sat. at you cub. Will call to set up something with you on Thurs. or Friday. Are you able to send me a copy of y’alls battle rythm.
Will.
Yep. Kalimah.
لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله or lā ilāha illallāh muhammadur-rasūlullāh, essentially the profession of faith.
That is why I think that when, in the spirit of shouting out the name of "Allah", one goes and blows up an innocent baby nearby, this cannot be citing the "God" we all know, but must be of Satan. At the risk of paraphrasing Hugo Chavez, "I smell sulfur" whenever I hear that "Allahu Ahkbar" in the jihadist tapes and then watch them blow innocent people up into small bits for no rational reason. Yep. It is of Satan. No doubt.
