BELFAST, Northern Ireland A political scandal riveting Northern Ireland has a certain cinematic feel: an affair by 58-year-old woman named Mrs. Robinson with a 19-year-old male lover.
Five separate Facebook groups with hundreds of followers have sprung up, lampooning the affair and comparing it to the 1967 film, "The Graduate."
But there is a serious side to the story of Iris Robinson, who also happens to be a member of Parliament and the wife of Peter Robinson Northern Ireland's government leader.

Yeah - saw that after I posted. Did search, no "Robinson" for today ... posted, then saw the other one ...
Happens sometimes ...
The Facebook sites are pretty funny.
She’s 58. She probably doesn’t even remember Joe Dimaggio.
But, I bet she went to the candidate's debate ...
I’m thinking it may be a good thing Ireland FINALLY allows divorce.
She’s 58 and he’s l9??
Ewwwwwwww
My son is 5. Several months ago he asked me who Joltin' Joe Dimaggio was. I have no idea how he had heard the name. Perhaps he had heard the song, but I don't know how that could have happened. Now that I think of it, the most likely source is that he heard the name in an old cartoon.
They are both powerful polticial leaders. Peter and Iris Robinson are like the Bill and Hillary of Northern Ireland in terms of their power.
But I guess the story is the same with the shoe “on the other foot.”
BUMP!
The article says that she is 60 now. I'm sixty as well and I know about Joltin Joe, but I know about him more as the spokesman for Mr. Coffee and the devoted, even after death, ex-husband of Marilyn Monroe.
even after death=her death
I once saw The Graduate in a cinema in Seoul, Korea.
Place was full and next to me sat about an 80 year old lady,
About 10 minutes in she cleared her throat and hocked a lugie on the floor like a Texas bull rider.
Movie was in English with Korean subtitles.
Sex—a better option than plastics.
