No, he didn't. He asked you a question, he asked you if certain statements reflected your beliefs. You could have just as easily answered no.
One thing that Free Republic does better than ANY website is that it allows complete religious freedom. There are people who have said horrible and untrue things about my religious beliefs and, in fairness, I have done the same to them.
The Constitution PROTECTS religious beliefs, it DOES NOT protect all religious practices. Sharia can be tempered by American laws the same was Mormon polygamy was. And for the last time, quit crying about how the Muslims are taking over parts of Europe. This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA there is NO COMPARISON between us and some socialist pansies in Europe.
There are 30 muslim towns in the US. Ask JustPiper. Two of them are Islamburg NY and Dearborn Mich.
Don't be so blind. It IS happening here. Terror trials in NYC?! Attempted bombing on NW Airlines and he gets miranda rights and is tried like anyone else?! Wakeup wagglebee!!!
This did not start out to be a religious thread. Your buddies turned it into one. I thought they would stop and get tired of beating a dead horse. But they didn’t. We tried to retake the thread with political posts and get away from the religious stuff, but your friend would have none of it. The FIRST post from him this morning was this piece of garbage that is morally repugnant.
And now you are RATIONALIZING what this one just did as somehow okay. Well, wagglebee, it is NOT okay. It is not okay to take a screed from Mein Kampf and ask us if this is how we feel when NO ONE on this thread ever suggested even one iota of what that text bespeaks. You are wrong here. Please do not dig yourself in deeper.
The very worst that was said that even came minimally close to violence against muslims on this thread was something about a size twelve combat boot.
You guys have seen fit to cause all this friction and stop any forward progress for the whole project based on a one sentence IDEA out of many.
It won’t work. the project goes on.
