You are insufferably arrogant. Before Exodus, there was Genesis. GOD began laying out the laws and regulations for THE Nation which was eventually called HaIvri, the root for HEBREWS, The People, the first millisecond GOD commanded Abraham to gather his family and sojourn to a land GOD promised to him.
The first order of business was the circumcision. The circumcision was to bind them as a people under HaShem, ONE NATION UNDER ONE GOD.
I could quote you passage after passage that shows your ignorance, but here is ONE. Very simple. Read it and go back and get your Bible straight.

Let me quote a verse from Genesis for your edification. Genesis 46:3, “And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:”
Notice where God says they will become a nation. When Israel went into Egypt they were a family of sixty-six (Gen. 46:27). While in Egypt they were a people and became a nation (Deut. 26:5).
