No doubt it may have some PR value. On the other hand, while these guys appear to have immersion suits on, the amount of survival time in those waters might be as little as three minutes (if memory serves), if the integrity of the suit is breached. I’m not sure how cold those waters are, but it would not be like a dip in the Gulf of Mexico.

They act like Jihadists. Not really sure what awaits an environmentalist in Heaven, but it looks like these guys came really close to finding out.

Eco-Sainthood and their 72 goats await them.

My brother occasionally piloted a 40’ dive boat for charters off Palm Beach, Florida. Nitwits on wetbikes thought it was cool to jump the boat’s bow wave and cut acroos it’s bow. Such a collision is automatically the fault of the smaller craft, especially when it gets that close to a larger one. The owner of the boat told him to turn into the wetbikes when they tried to get to the bow wave. Intimidation was the only way to keep them at a safe distance.

Mountain goats more likely. Gotta’ keep that “wild” theme going.

My dinosaur (1997) desktop lags too much to listen to sound on videos without maddening stops, the slow-mo effect to the video is bad enough.

I do recall in a post yesterday that the captain of the protest boat said they were stationary. I don’t suppose he knew he would be on a video that shows otherwise.

I know that in marine traffic, the smaller, more maneuverable craft is supposed to yield to the larger, less maneuverable craft. A rule that makes a lot of sense to the Blue Collar Christian.

Apparently the Ady Gil’s “Stealthyness” must have not been much of an asset.

They are typically athiests, so they pretty much go nowhere....forever.

I like where the Japanese keep the high pressure hose on the eco-terrorists after running over their bat-boat.

Sorry, this was a ramming by the anti whalers and is an attempted act of crimial violence.

According to the UN laws of the sea, piracy is a war-like act committed by private parties (not affiliated with any government) that engaged in acts of robbery and/or criminal violence at sea

Yeah, they thought it was all cool and funny when the bat-boat was trying to cross the path of the Japanese whaler, until the whaler slammed into it.

As far as I am concerned, any vessel (while not acting as a protector of their own recognized territorial waters) that attempts to intercept another ship is nothing more than a pirate. I personally feel that the Japanese vessels have exhibited a great amount of self-control in that they haven't sent more of these "Sea Shepherd" pirates to the bottom.

Raven6

++++++++++++

Next time, .50 cal machine guns should be used on the pirates.
