I checked the website and they have opened up rooms or I did not put in correct links yesterday. I called and the ones listed as traditional view, 2 bed/room are actually relatively reasonable $110/nite, plus tax :(

-—instead of the $189 they listed as retail. Still not a cheap convention, but far more reasonable than I originally thot.

I am planning to attend. I have my room reservation and Convention ticket.

Numerous speakers I am excited to hear. (Today I have heard rumors that the convention is being hijacked by GOP RINOS-I think someone is just trying to cause trouble for the Convention sponsors.) The lib’s are attacking the website and I certainly wouldn’t put it past them to plant rumors of problems and cause doubt about the event.

Sure it was a little expensive, 500+ for the ticket. That does include 6 meals and 3 days of events. Not too bad when you break it down. Plus I plan on networking with other TEA party members, learning as much as I can and enjoying the whole event. I will write something about the convention and share it with FR when I return.
