Guantanamo Detainees Treated MUCH Better Than Prisoners In USA

This article tells what President Obama does not. That’s the way I figured it, and my figuring is confirmed. As I noted on Jan. 22, 2009, President Obama had no plan at all -- let alone a workable one -- to close Camp Delta at Guantanamo Bay. He won’t meet his self-imposed deadline, and now many think Gitmo may never be closed. Hat tip to Morrissey at Hot Air. The treatment and conditions terrorists at the Club Gitmo Resort and Spa receive is much better than locked-down conditions at federal Supermax sites, and possibly much better than state prisons across the country. Heck, Rush Limbaugh created or saved a few jobs with an entire merchandise collection for Club Gitmo, and they still have T-shirts available.

The average Gitmo prisoner gains eighteen pounds.

This is a small upside to the Gitmo situation. The prisoners will have it much worse in the US.

I’ve no doubt we’ll still be building them stainless steel squathole crappers and footbaths and painting arrows on the floor so they can find which way to point their ass while praying from their government issue Koran.

Probably start letting them congregate for “prayer” after their court-ordered lemon chicen and rice pilaf evening repast.

You are right. If I were a prisoner at GITMO I’d be mad to move from a balmy, warm tropical island to Illinois. They are really going to complain about being tortured then.

That’s why Rush calls it “Club Gitmo”.

When will we hear how much it will cost to close Gitmo...for example what to we pay countries to take prisoners. How much to buy the prison in Illinois and how much to fix it up for the Muslim prisoners, and how much to harden it.$250M for Obama to close Gitmo and take credit throughout the world. He says that the existence of Gitmo, recruits more Jihadists...but won’t the hardened prison in Illinois do the same????

I wonder how well these jihadis would fare if in a prison surrounded by Aryan Nation, Crips , Bloods, Latin Kings, Bikers, La Cosa Nostra, etc.
