Even the so-called "Mainstream" media is starting to get it!
Earlier this week I posted on the request by C-Span that Obama fulfill his campaign pledge and allow at least the final negotiations on health care to be done in public on C-Span. Fox News has been covering this story. Now it seems the other guys are playing catch up.

He’s not pissed about the transparency per se, it’s the idea that libs might not get EVERYTHING they think that they’re entitled to in the plan.

Yes, he sure did.
Politicians lie because the benefit is huge and the cost is nil. If they’re caught in a lie, they just lie some more. What harm comes to them? None. 9 times out of 10 they can get re-elected even though everyone knows they can’t be trusted. A large percentage of the American voters are of even lower quality than the politicians. That’s the real source of the downfall of our culture...wicked voters. Voters who think they can get something for nothing and the OTHER guy will pay.

Incredible. Truly incredible! All too often, when libs (or libs masquerading as journalists) criticize their own, it’s with a certain perfunctory blast of warmish air. Not this time. Cafferty, and quite a few others usually acting as stealth apologists, are turning on the heated righteous indignation. Why so mad? Probably because they feel like they were used, not because they disagree so much with the ultimate aims of their “team”.
Jack was right for a chance. Of course he and the others should have seen this coming but they were blind to reality like 69 million others. So where are the rest of the media and the advocates for openness and transparency? If Bush and the Republican Congress ever pulled a stunt like this after making so public a promise not to, the talking heads would be in an uproar.
Come 2012, they’ll flop right over on their backs to push for his “re-election.” All it will take is a simple promise from him to be more forthcoming.
Of course, Obama lies as do the D’rats. But Gallup still has Obama at 50%! Either he’s a teflon president or we have a nation of whom no less one half are mentally deranged, ignorant, or just plain fools.
One day.
Why would anyone care what this worthless doucher has to say about anything? Cafferty is a joke, a very dull tool in a rotten drawer.
