People vote for candidates for all kinds of reasons. I don’t think the majority of people voted for Obama because he was African American. They voted for him because he wasn’t a Republican, because he wasn’t John McCain, and he didn’t have a long track record of disasters behind him (though he’s creating many right now).

If you think most people voted for B.O. because he was black, that’s certainly your opinion. I do not share it.

I think he was elected because he was black. I think enough people wanted to see someone other than an evil white man get elected, for a “change.”

I think it was a big show and a headf**k that actually worked.

I think it was memorizing to a lot of people. How else can you explain the ignoring of his past, his voting record (or lack thereof), his inexperience, his radical associations?

The guy was and is a hard-left, narcissistic, power monger. It was plain as day three years ago, just as it is today.

A white man would have at least been vetted, if not raked through the coals for these things.

Yes, clearly he was elected because he is only half-white.
