Airlines should have signs in the waiting area, in Arabic, that the airplane is equipped with packages of pork products stowed in several undisclosed locations. The fear of being contaminated by this “filth” during an explosion, and perhaps missing out on eternal bliss with 6 dozen virgins, might deter some of these fanatics.
I expressed that precise idea on FR about a week or two ago. That the pilot of the aircraft would have a switch with which to drop down bacon, hamhocks, slabs of pork, chicharonnes, etc. etc. (my exact words) coming out of a slits in the overhead fuselage part over the passengers seats in the PAX cabin, next to the drop down air masks mechanisms. The freeze dried, clear plastic packaged pork --clearly labled "PORK" and "IMPURE" in Arabic, English, Urdu, Pashtun, Malaysian, Indonesia, Hindi, etc. would land on everyone's laps, one pack per passenger...and thanks to those pork packs not being Islamically
"haram" (pure) anybody blown--including jehadist martyrs, to smithereens would be mixed with the filthy pork, and those bombers would NOT have had any time for ritual "wudu" (cleaning) and absolutive prayer to Mecca in that split second of the crash,
and they would go to hell in a handbasket in their moral and philosophical frame of mind. It would be worse than having relative killed. They say they love death like we love life, but one thing they fear worse than a Christian fears death is an impure Islamic death and rejection by Allah.I also propose that T- shirts be produced and written in both ENGLISH and ARABIC, stating "I am "Haram" because I am carrying on my person at least three pounds of pork products on this flight." People start boarding US flights with those T shirts on, the terrorists see those at boarding gates, when casing the passengers, I am CERTAIN based on everything I have read in the Qu'ran and the Hadiths, that they will not choose that flight to end their lives. But I would get together some Islam scholars and think this one through. I still think there isnt a fatwa in the world a radical cleric could issue that would get around those key tenants of Islam relating to pork.
