Couple your analysis with the fact that reliable weather records have been kept for only about 170 years, the model has almost nothing to use as a reference standard or control.

The model approaches magic and voodoo in it's efficacy.

I didn't turn my air conditioner on but one time in central Ohio last summer

Same here in Columbus. The previous two coldest summers were 2000 and 1993. The hottest ones were 1994, 1996 and 1999.

I don’t claim to be the smartest person in the world, but I’m not a maroon.

A freeze warning has been issued in Miami which replaces the earlier freeze watch. http://tinyurl.com/yagap9j

While it was started as documentation of the ClimateGate Swindle, I have plenty about The Coming Ice Age, err, Global Warming, err, Climate Change, err, what we used to call "having weather", too-- click the picture, goto the last "page," and scroll back:

"Hadley CRU has apparently been hacked –[epic fraud?]"

Click the picture:

And yes, it is a swindle- a fraud and a cheat and a scam-- a deliberately designed construct intended to con you out of things you hold dear-- money, and prosperity, and freedom... and a few other things, as well.

"Same here in Columbus. The previous two coldest summers were 2000 and 1993."

We went out on the lake several times last August, and even July, and it was downright chilly at night. I don't know what the record "cold" summer is, but last year had to be close. It's was certainly colder than anything that I can remember, and my 84 year-old mother agrees.

Well, even though I am a NY-born Yankee (and, one of my kids ALMOST went to Texas), I have to root for 'Bama. Why? Well, when I grew up in the '60s, ol' Bear Bryant and The Crimson Tide were kickin' a lotta butt and you could not help admire those teams...6 national champs between '58 and '82.

Similar to folks from the south being Yankee fans or people from Cleveland being Dallas Cowboy fans. Everyone loves a winner...

And it sounds like your menu will only help your enjoyment. I'm going to grab a few live lobsters and steam 'em tonight...prices are down down down for lobsters here...$7.99/lb.

Well you are “talking” to the world’s biggest Yankee fan on the planet. One of my retirement gifts when I retired from the USMS in 05 was a private tour of Yankee Stadium. I was standing there in the bullpen with tears and one of the guys asked me what was wrong and I replied “Nothing, I now know the true meaning of ‘I’ve died and gone to heaven’..” I have the 1999 World Championship locker room ball cap signed by Joe Torre, El Duque, Andy Pettitt and Roger Clemens....an Andy Pettitt signed baseball...I also have a piece of the bench from the Yankee dugout and a brick from Memorial Park....I love my Yankees almost as much as I love my Bama.....so the Yankees won the WS; now if the Tide wins tonight all will almost be right with the world....taking back Congress and defeating the empty suit in 2012 will make everything better!!!! You need to go on line to 95ksj.com, click on Dan & Shelby and there’s a song there by Trace Adkins called “Ala-freaking-Bama” - click on the version that says Bama fans will love this....it’s GREAT!

Wow...that is ironic that I gave the Yankee example to explain my ‘Bama rooting...I guess I didn’t have to ‘splain much to you! And thanks for the link...I will check it out after work.
