Dr. Randeep Mann, the Pope County physician who was charged with federal firearms violations last year, has also been indicted by a Little Rock grand jury in connection with the car bombing of a West Memphis physician 11 months ago.
From March 11, 2009: Mann was arrested on the federal charges after workers for the city of London stumbled upon a partially buried canister that contained 98 live grenades in a wooded area about 300 yards from Mann's home. The grenades can only legally be possessed by the military.
Inside Mann's home, officers armed with a search warrant found a similar canister, with 98 grenades, grenade launchers and numerous firearms, including 110 fully automatic machine guns.
Although Mann is licensed to sell such firearms, at least four of them weren't registered to him as required under the National Firearms Act, according to Special Agent David Oliver of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. From March 11, 2009 Dr Mann lives less than a half-mile from an Arkansas nuclear power plant, a search yielded a cache of grenades, launchers, and fully automatic machine guns worth more than $1 million. They were found at the home of the doctor who was questioned as a suspect in the Feb. 4 bombing of West Memphis resident Dr. Trent Pierce.

Several thought..why would they good Dr have these items near a Nuclear Reactor....Whats his ethnic background? He certainly doesn't look Irish in his photos.
Could he have been planning a terrorist attack on the Nuclear Reactor, that was averted because he bombed the Med Bd President first in revenge from them restricting his Med License for narcotic prescriptions...and got caught prior to attached the Nuc?
This maybe one that Homeland Security needs to look into, see if that was his intent, and if he was part of a larger terrorist plot.
Here's a link to a google map of the proximity of his house & grenade stash to the Nuclear Reaction.

Any thoughts on this...or do any fellow freepers have more info? Just a thought....but a disturbing one.
Certainly sounds like “tip of the iceberg” stuff.

Here's his photo. His name sounds Indian to me, but probably not Muslim. It would be interesting to know if that's the case.

Dr Randeep Mann
Nuke plants are not convenience stores, and automatic safety features will prevent a meltdown.
According to another article, his full name is Randeep Singh Mann.
Definitely Indian. Possibly Sikh or Hindu.
I’m not sure at all what the truth of this story is, but I can assure you that “Little Rock” and the “ATF” are high on my list of non credible sources. One question that bothers me is how common is it for defendants to testify to a grand jury?
Really? Oh. Uh...
