There is a lot of water between now and Nov 2. But I can only see it getting worse for the Dimocraps - they can’t shut their “lie holes.”

Cloakey could be defeated if pubbies were to hammer her role in keeping Gerald Amirault in prison for those last three or four years over the airwaves day and night. This is another case of a demoKKKrat political career being build on the blood of innocents.

The GOP has nothing to celebrate about. Democrat troubles are strictly of their own doing, and there is no assurance that Republicans won’t botch it as badly as they did the last time.

Did you hear the sizable list of RAT Senators who are either not elected, or seated there due to voter fraud (Al Franken)

I'll see if I can find the total list.

This is important. Contribute money or time or phone calls to elect Scott Brown!!! To make it easy, here's the link:

This is a double bonus for us: 1)sends fear to the Dems (Ted Kennedy's seat) at this time before the Obamacare vote; and 2) deprives the Dems of their 60 vote majority.

There’s more to this than meets the eye. They just want to run stronger Dems, that’s all. The Dims know these radical encumbents are history, so they actually increase their chances of holding seats by driving their current scum out and bringing in new liberal scum. The scum on the new scum won’t be as visible as it was on the old scum, so they can then define themselves as not being scum. They can even say conservative things to whitewash their scum. I’m not saying it’s a winning strategy, just that whenever liberals are concerned there’s always more than meets the eye. That’s part-and-parcel of being a natural born deviate.

Exactly.

Republicans need to make it clear to voters that a vote for any Democrat is a voter for the Obama/Reid/Pelosi radical socialist agenda and that they have an alternative.

This from Rush:

How many Democrats in the Senate are actually elected? They have 60 votes in the Senate through hook and crook. I will never believe that Al Franken really won his election, for example. Arlen Specter quit, jumped ship. Burris, Illinois, unelected. The Democrats in Illinois would not allow a special election. Paul Kirk, Massachusetts, not elected, replaced Ted Kennedy, rather than a special election...

...there are two other Democrats who are not elected. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, she was appointed, and this guy from Colorado, Bennett. I mean, there are five or six of these clowns! They wouldn't have 60 votes if we'd have had special elections.

Sens. Byron Dorgan and Chris Dodd both said they wouldn't run for another term

Only problem I see is without the crooks running for reelection it may be harder for the Pubbie to win. "Clean" Dems have a better chance, right?

Yes but.............yes, I agree with you, except in North Dakota, I don’t think any Dem is going to have a prayer.

No, they can’t “seize” the chamber. Even if Scott wins, they’ll be down 59-41. All they do is possibly block cloture, but even then they’d have to get Snowe and Collins on board.

Scott is more than a little wishy washy on a few important issues (like abortion,) but I guess for a Republican to win in Lib-Land mAssachusetts, he almost has to be. My best wishes to him.

"They wouldn't have 60 votes if we'd have had special elections."

While I would always prefer special elections, or appointment by state legislatures over appointment by a governor, I really don't think it would have made any difference in these particular states, and certainly not at the time the vacancies occurred.

We've forgotten how bad things were for the GOP just 8 or nine months ago. New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Colorado all would have EASILY stayed Dem. The one that really hurts was and continues to be Pennsylvania. Without Specter's defection, Obama wouldn't have health care.
