No jail time, but a $45,000 fine and 500 hours community service. She also has to sell all of her fur coats and electronic gifts, and give the proceeds to charity.
Can not for for any city/state office. But she still will be eligible for her $83,000 pension.

Pelosi went to school in DC with other politicians kids, I think I remember AlGore at the same school.

Her Dad was successful at getting the St Louis Browns to move to Baltimore, home of Babe Ruth and the original Yankees.

Sometimes I wish they would move back.

I live and work in Baltimore (the Brooklyn area - yes, I am well-armed) and I can tell you that there are areas of this city that make Beirut look like Beverly Hills. There was once a population of about 940,000 - it was the sixth-largest city in the U.S. - but now it's in the mid 600K range. It has long been run by corrupt Democrats - save Willie Don Schaefer. I'm glad to see Sheila "The Shoe" finally get her comeuppance.

Why do I stay? I don't know. Family and friends I guess.

I’m not that far outside the city but I rarely venture inside. There’s a SuperFresh in Parkville that’s near or inside the city limits, I go around otherwise. Last trip in was about 2002.

I was raised in the suburbs of Baltimore and hate what I read about the City now.

Still, I visit and love so many parts of the City. Very sad. :(

I used to sit a few feet away from Wild Bill Hagy in Section 34. I’ve been to one game at the new stadium, don’t even bother with the O’s most time.

They made a good trade getting rid of that pitcher but even with better players there are no positive results.
