End stage renal failure is as bad as the body can get before it dies. My wife sits through 6 treatments a week while I administer the procedure. The home training we received saves the hospital and the government money. It has taken a hefty toll on our retirement. The cost for machine rental and all the components, tubes, syringes, saline, gloves, masks and specialized fluids cost us about 10K each quarter. I will gladly pay what it takes to keep my wife with me. I am an American by birth and Texan by God.
