Tell people you are a "Checkbook" Conservative. Fiscal conservative means nothing to 90% of Americans. At least a few more will relate to the term Checkbook or Responsible Spending Conservative, or Balance Budget Conservative.

We have to get the concept into the populous that trillions in debt is not the way to run a country and that it will eventually crash down if we don't stop it.

It already has crashed down, we just have a government that refuses to admit it. I have personally witnessed how a sizable corporation can go on losing money for years until finally there are no more lenders who can be duped into propping it up and failure has to be admitted. The end stage is a fast process and this country is at that stage now.

America has been duped into focusing on everything except what is really important, it now looks as if some will have to starve to death before they realize they are NOT going to die from global warming.
