Indeed it is.
What most people dont know that is in 2004, the AP was a birther news organization.
What birthers don't know is that the "AP" associated with the Kenyan Standard Times stands for African Press and not Associated Press.
The AP reporter stated the following: Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
What birthers also fail to mention is that by November 2004, the African Press had already dropped the "born in Kenya" angle.
"...It is not clear what Obamas foreign policy agenda as a senator will be, particularly whether he will push for more American involvement in Africa, especially Kenya, his fathers home..."
And by 2006, the African Press was referring to Obama as Hawaiian born.
"...Mr Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961, to a Kenyan father, Mr Barack Hussein Obama, and an American mother, Ms Shirley Ann Dunham of Wichita, Kansas..."
