Well GT had a great punter. Who knew it. I don’t know who it was officially, but he should be GT’s MVP for the game. No one else deserved it for them. ACC defensive player of the year wasn’t the best at his position on the field; Clayborn didn’t make it close. 1st team ACC WR, no catches. 1st team ACC QB was 2/9 passing for 13 yards and 12.5 passing efficiency, and tied 1st team ACC RB with 48 yards rushing... behind both of Iowa’s freshman running backs. Iowa had more rushing yards than Tech had total yards. Tech was touted for zillions of plays over 20 yards during the season; they had two, the pick 6 and one KO return, none on offence. Iowa had seven: 2 KO returns, 2 rushes, and 3 passes (long for 54). Iowa’s offense did manage to self destruct enough to keep the score close, but made the plays it needed to make.
