Wow, guess I should have seen that one coming. I prefer my freedom with a nice dose of civility.
I must be small minded.
My only wish is to be 6' 2"
You can never go wrong with Marge Simpson's kitchen curtains.
freedom without cost .... like reality is only for those that can’t handle drugs.
There is no room for civility when freedom is being pulled. My brother died for it, I was wounded for it and my uncles and father gave up decades of life for it.
Restoring Freedom is NOT civil Ask Neville Chamberlain, he damn near doomed an entire nation. Hmm ... so many similariites exist ...
Enjoy your latte ... and the all so important things .... you have created in your mind. It is that very tnature why we are where we are. Want some cheese with that wine .. ask your masters. they will be sure to dole some out to keep you just barely satisfied. It is what you deserve.
A couple of things, and by way of disclosure, I've been tagged twice.
The cameras are set to take two pictures, one of your face as you enter the zone and one of your license plate as you depart the zone. AZ does not use a front license plate. If both pictures aren't nearly perfect, you get no citation. I'm hoping this happened on my last trip, when I believe there was a semi rig between me and the camera as I passed. I'll know within 45 days, when I do or don't receive a citation. They trip at the speed limit plus 9MPH. Most are located on the Interstate highways.
The photo traps do nothing to reduce speeds and collisions. They are a traffic hazard. By law, the mobile vans must be marked with full-size orange diamond-shaped highway signs. That gives motorists plenty of time to drop back down to 84 or 74 MPH. The problem is, many drivers in the passing lane will drop to below the speed limit. This creates the potential for rear-end collisions upon approaching the photo van. I don't know that there have been any, but I've narrowly missed making some joker my hood ornament as a result of panic braking.
I'm sure there are other reasons not to like the mobile photo speed-trap vans.
Well thanks to you and your family for your service.
This will change, Mr. Solid Citizen, when you get your first ticket for 45 in a 40. Then I'll wager there'll be the devil to pay.
I actually once had the nerve to pass a police car on the interstate just going a few miles over the speed limit. Sure enough he pulled me over... and gave me a warning.
What a fraudulent government scam that is....
Force people to re-register the same vehicle over and over and over and over and over....causing a mountain of paper work so the can confiscate more money from the people simply so they can employ and pay for thousands of DMV government employees.
What insanity...
I know it stinks, and in some states it can be a ripoff. But I see it as part of the cost of the privilege of driving. What really does piss me off is that even a cent of those fees are siphoned off to pay for expenses that have nothing to do with roads.
I am somewhat glad though that red light and speeding camera tickets in MD are not tied to my driving record. Of course I'm the cheap guy who drives way under the speed limit when I see one. :)

By having the government hire thousands of DMV employees to process this insanity?
You sure you’re on the right website?
Of course I don't support that. I'd rather the money go to pay for the costs of roads. I'd hate to see extra people hired when you rarely even have to an office (in this state anyway) to re-register your car. Just about everything is done online and it can't take that much effort to deal with it.
Gezzuz...How can it go to the roads, when the government has to hire thousands of DMV workers, to process this endless insanity of forcing Americans to re-register their same vehicles over and over and over and over and over...It's just more big gov madness...
