"The Sword and the Shield:..."

Dry? I started that about 4 years ago. It's like taking a stroll through Death Valley without water.

Still, very good.

My wife got me Evans’ book for Christmas.

I am at page 150 or so.

I’ve learned so much of that era and I thought I was pretty well versed before reading this book.

It is a must read to understand what happened then and what continues to happens to this day.

As to Sword & Shield, I’ve had that book forever - bought it at a CPAC years ago - can’t read it and have tried a dozen or so time.

It’s the Russian names that make it difficult for me.
