I'm not sure really who to believe. Until Bush writes and releases his memoir, we probably won't know for sure. I've read that many of the speech writers thought that Gerson (sp?) had an over-inflated estimate of his importance. I have also read that Frum was the central author of the "axis of evil" speech - and that came from people other than Frum himself. Clearly, Frum is an articulate speaker and skilled writer that suffers from horrible policy instincts. He's wrong about virtually everything he says, although he says it nicely.
Their disrespect and mocking of average Americans....came thru loud and clear in 08.
It is good they are at least exposed, so as not to influence us anymore.
