I flew 2 years ago. The TSAfools had me and my mother take off our shoes. My mother is 72 years old and can barely walk with 2 canes. Two guys with backpacks, mid to late 20s, obviously mid-eastern decent (I’d guess Pakistani?, very dark skin, black hair, dark eyes, perfect English) went right thru to board. Now these guys were probably as harmless as mom and I, but to ignore them while you scrutinize a 72 year old near invalid white grandma is beyond moronic.

I totally, totally agree. They are actually ANTI-profiling, which means you have a group you need to profile, but that group will sue you for profiling them, and they ARE a little scary. So, instead of doing the right thing, the most sensible thing, they gotta profile somebody to make it look like they are doing their jobs...so they profile your grandma and let the terrorists on board without even a passing glance.

This latest guy got on board WITHOUT A PASSPORT!! Why not make sure EVERYONE has a passport before subjecting EVERYONE ELSE to cavity searches????

You hit that out of the park. Anti-profiling is what has been done when middle-eastern looking people with wrags on their heads breeze through airport security while screeners disassemble someone elses wheel chair.
