Indeed they are.

A friend, now a retired Lt. Col. USAR, had a tumor on one of his neck vertebrae. They treated it, and he was able to continue in the reserves, although he was no longer deemed deployable. That was well over a decade ago. I last spoke with him just a few months ago. No return of the cancer.

Prayers for a similar result for Jeff.

We are humbled by the outpouring of faith, prayers, and good wishes on our behalf and thank our entire FreeRepublic family and each of you individually for it.

God has called us to pass through these experiences and confess His hand, and witness His will in the process and we shall do that full of faith, knowing He and His Son love us, have a perfect knowledge of our condition, and have the abolute best in mind for ourselves, our family, and loved ones.
