Black women have struggled for centuries in this country to be free of the washerwoman image; yet she wears these house-dresses. All that's missiing is the food-stained apron.

Where in the world does she obtain these just-a-little-happy-homemaker pieces of crap? And why would any self-respecting lawyer in the highest reaches of public life want to wear this in public for any reason ?

She probably paid a lot of money for this dress, which is too high in the waist, too tight and the chest and shoulders, and needs longer sleeves to keep from looking cheap.

I can get unflattering frocks at The Salvation Army for $2!

And why doesn’t she (or servants) do her hair and her daughter’s hair? I wouldn’t go to Walmart with that ‘do, at least not without a hat or scarf on!
