2,000 CHRISTIANS PUT TO DEATH
The U.S. invasion of Iraq has not resulted in the establishment of a secular government or an expansion of democracy.
It has rather resulted in the creation of another Muslim state ruled by Islamic law (sharia) and a wholesale attack on all Christians who remain in the country.
Iraq, thanks to the failed Bush/Obama policies, is morphing into an imitation of the Islamic Republic next door - - a Republic with which the new regime in Iraq maintains close relations
Two thousand Christians have been put to death; thousands more have been driven from their homes.
On New Year’s Eve, Zhaki Homo Bashir, a Christian deacon, was hit by gunfire from a group of unknown criminals. The man had just entered his shop located in the district of al Jadida. Seriously injured, he was transported to hospital.
Another Christian - - Basil Isho Youhanna was shot and killed in front of his house in the neighborhood of Tahrir, in northern Mosul.
Over the holiday season, increased attacks by Islamists have taken place on churches and convents and a dozen Iraqi Christians have been put to death.

I thought one of the reasons Bush went in there ws to give the freedom to the people and to install democracy.... where did the ball get dropped and the negotiations and guidance finish?
