The terrorist was on a watch list but not a no fly list. The father of the terrorist went to American Authorities at the Embassy and reported his fears about his son.
What the hell does Janet Incompetino want? Perhaps the father should have sent a notarized statement cosigned by the pope that said, "my son is planning to blow an American plane out of the sky." Would that rise to the level of a smoking gun?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberalism has resulted in so many dishonest, incompetent dolts rising to high positions (not to mention all the medium and lower positions) in govt and media, that none will recognize how asinine this kind of statement is.
First, the very metaphor of a “smoking gun” is about finding evidence AFTER a crime has been committed.
For intel and counter-terrorism, the whole point is to be able to detect and/or block terrorists and terrorist attacks BEFORE they occur!!!!
It would be nice if one could always have such specific knowledge of future terror plots and specific acts such as “this jihadist is going to board a plane at this time etc.”
Libs now change the “standard” of media and public judgment, as they always do, as the scummy hypocrites we have come to know...... with 9/11 it was “omg, a CIA briefing which stated the obvious that every sentient creature in the world had known for years, that Al Qaeda hoped somewhere, somehow, someday to attack US aircraft and people.”
Wow, that’s really the “smoking gun” that should have stopped 9/11 [of course we know there were things that should have been put together in time, but they were stuck in the bureaucracies mainly b/c of Clintonista policies about “the Wall” etc.
In this case, the Obamanation totally “owns” this problem and we should not need or hope to always have any more specific knowledge than we had in this case...... the guy’s dad WENT TO Nigerian intel who brought him to the CIA station chief, and from what I read it wasn’t as vague as the Obambi apologists try to make it out..... sure the father did not know of a specific plot, but he did know the son was radicalised as a jihadist, had dropped out of sight in Yemen, had a “final” phone conversation with the family in which the father was told they would never speak again etc. Assuming even a fraction of what has been reported as known overall about the guy in advance may be true, there was ample reason to ensure he could never openly fly to or visit the USA in any way. If anyone (in the know) had given even a moment’s thought to what it takes for a Muslim father (or just about any parent in the world) to “report” their son in that way to a “foreign” intel service, Good Heavens, that could only meant that the father believed in his heart that his son was swept up in terror preparations.... and how would the family know any particulars????? it’s a crazy lack of judgment on the part of ppl. who handled this info.
The guy is NOT a US citizen..... we didn’t have to allow him to fly here at all, and “we knew” quite enough to have strong reason to keep him out..... oh, wait, Barney Frank and his pals made it nearly impossible to block Visas for almost any reason at all..... so any State Dept. or intel person who stuck his/her neck out to keep this guy out would have been in deep doo doo with the politically correct charlatans who are in charge.
This “standard” that someone has to be known to be plotting a specific terror attack in order to be kept out of the USA is absurd and dangerous. If Brennan is supposed to be one of the “best” counter-terrorist ppl with the Obamanation then we really are in deep deep doo-doo.... but then we all knew that already.

More disinformation coming out of the White House. There was a news report a few days ago that said that a top official had been briefed in the White House about the underpants bomber a few months prior to the attack. Barry and Rahm are still in denial mode. It is no surprise that Barry does not take this seriously considering that he’s still close with his Domestic Terrorist friend Bill Ayers.
We just so happen were in the last row of the plane, 44, and the Muslim gal was 3 seats ahead of us, the Sikh guy was 2 seats ahead of us on the other side. I'm wondering, did they both get a crotch search? A total cavity search? I knew they hadn't, so it was tension city all the way to Seattle. Did anyone talk with them, interview them, like the Israelis do? I'm sweating bullets when she went to the bathroom. I honest to God almost didn't get on the plane. . .
Anyway, we made it, but unless things change, it's just a matter of time until 300 men, women and children get killed. There were a lot of kids on the plane. . .
