I hope you caught the sarcastic tone especially when reading my first response to his rediculous statement about the sprinklers. I thought of following up that the only way sprinlers would have put out that fire was to flush everything out the windows which would have included all of the people as well. The scene was ugly enough already with those who decided to take fate in their own hands rather than being roasted alive.
Maybe they can give that money to those ROP followers that are at the govt looking for a free lunch. Or maybe they can give it to the ACLU creeps that always have their hand out. Come on, the Govt needs its money to support its habit. Show a little understanding and kindness /sarc/
I am aware of an issue where these guys insisted that a fire suppression system be installed in a building with A LOT of taxpayer funded optics and electronics, which the system almost destroyed in a failure. Subsequently, the crooks tried to backtrack and say that a different system should have been installed, and they are happy to recommend the switchover at our expense. The right answer is probably that no automatic system should have been installed, because there is nothing to burn. The damage and cost to the taxpayers would have been staggering - don't ask, but some state deficits are smaller numbers.
In my view these so called "fire suppression subject matter experts" are just swindlers, crooks and whores who managed to insinuate themselves into a risk averse environment run by incompetents who don't know how to do anything.
