About watching Clinton for Parkinson’s... (my husband has it)

True, the finger tremor is an early symptom, but not all go on to develop Michael Fox type jerking movements. Some just become stiff, rigid, and develop a “Tim Conway” walk.

The inability of the brain to maintain smooth muscular coordination can vary in Parkinson’s. One thing that might be easier to spot would be the muscles around his eyes. If he develops a “staring” expression, that would be another clue.

Yes, I've heard of that "flat affect" expressionless face with the staring eyes -- quite hard to imagine B.Clinton in that condition, he was always so animated all the time.

I didn't realize that not everybody goes on to develop full blown Parkinsons Disease.

So then, I presume from your comments, that not EVERYONE who is diagnosed with PD will develop dementia shortly before they die?
