Heres some news I missed.Edward Jay Epstein reported on December 21 that the FBIs anthrax case has fallen apart. In 2008 the FBI declared that Dr. Bruce Ivins, who died an apparent suicide in July 2008, was the perpetrator who sent anthrax-laced letters to members of Congress and others just days after the September 11 attacks. The FBIs investigation, apparently the most lengthy it had ever conducted, was directed primarily at scientists who had access to anthrax materials. But, Epstein reports, it turns out that Dr. Ivins did not have access to the sophisticated form of anthrax used in September 2001.

As I recall the Iraqis obtained quite a few anthrax lines from the US by mail order.

Yes. In Iowa. And we gave some to Europeans, Germans specifically, who tried to pass it on to Irag’s Department of Agriculture. Only Sadam’s personal guards intercepted the package before it could get inside the Department.
This information is courtesy of a debriefing of the AG Department head by our military.
Not according to what I've seen. There is as much confusion on that point as on the rest of the investigation.
