I'm always interested in your response to things, lj. I would agree there's no cause for optimism, but I can't think there's no hope. (Which, as the supernatural virtue, is only born when optimism dies.)

The collapse of a decayed society is a thought which comes to me more often than I like. When I pray for my nation to repent, I wonder what it would take for a nation like the UK or the USA to repent. I wonder what it is I'm praying for.
