One has to marvel at the opening graph of this Politico story:

Yes, reality is complicating the Obama administrations war on terror policies. It must be maddening to the Obami that they are presented once again with inconvenient evidence that their insistence on emptying Guantanamo of dangerous people is mind-bogglingly inane. It is not surprising that Republicans were quick to point this out:

Obama is confronted with inconvenient truths as he tries to execute his liberal agenda.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
We have a guy who tried to murder 230 people and we cannot even question him without his Miranda rights.
We cant waterboard him, we cant even speak to him without his lawyer present.

At this point Al Franken might have done a better job. Jeanine Garafolo might have done a better job.
